We can also offer daytime classes during store opening hours in our Chiswick branch. Our classes can accommodate between 6-10 students, depending on the class you would like to book. Whether you choose one of our regular courses from our Full Range of Cook School Classes or a shortened version of some of our popular 3-hours classes, we have something to suit everyone of all skill levels

Our shortened 2-hour versions of our full-length classes include:

  • Fresh Pasta: over the course of 2 hours, participants form teams to learn how to make both white and wholemeal pasta dough. Each team will make its own roasted vegetable lasagne, tagliatelle, and spaghetti.
  • French Macarons: master the craft of making macarons from scratch. Participants will learn how to whip meringues and cream by hand, a foolproof formula for macarons, and piping techniques.
  • Bread and Pizza: learn how to make bread and pizza dough by hand with minimal mess. Foccacia, artisanal whole wheat bread, and pizza will be made and enjoyed throughout the class.
  • Classic Canapés with a Modern Twist:learn a variety of classic canapé techniques including choux pastry for gougeres, olive tapenade from scratch, and savoury palmiers.

  • Led by our trained chefs, the Cook School uses Borough Kitchen’s high quality products, giving participants a hands-on experience with a range of tools. Our kitchens use some of the latest and best equipment available from industry-leader Gaggenau. Classes are limited in size, providing an intimate learning environment with personalised instruction. Each class will have a chef and sous chef to give all students the required amount of attention for an enjoyable evening building skills and confidence in our kitchens.
