JOB TITLE:  Cook School Coordinator  
HOURS:  28 to possibly 40 hours/week
LOCATION: Hampstead, NW3

Borough Kitchen seeks to hire a Cook School Coordinator who is a reliable, friendly, flexible, dedicated individual with strong attention to detail and is passionate about food and cooking. The role requires 2-3 evening shifts per week, each shift normally from 16:30 to 22:00. This is a fun role where you will share your passion for food with many different people.

Key Job Components 

  • Taking ownership of the Cook School, ensuring the highest standards are held, following & coordinating health and hygiene guidelines
  • Working closely with the Cook School Director & Store Manager ensuring all processes are in place and run smoothly, problem-solving where necessary
  • Ordering groceries and supplies and maintaining stock control
  • Ensuring Cook School Assistants have everything they need to efficiently run their classes, acting as the first point of contact when issues arise
  • Assisting the chef instructors by organising all ingredients and equipment before each class or event, including weigh-ups and food prep (mise en place)
  • Delivering product demonstrations in our Cook School kitchen when required
  • Working one shift per week on the shop floor to establish/maintain excellent product knowledge to provide expert guidance to cook school guests and product demo attendees
  • Providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience for our customers
