The hand-painted border is black with flecks of dark grey and blue; it follows the uneven edges to create a subtle drip effect that emphasises every piece’s unique shape. The matt finish absorbs rather than reflects light, resulting in a purer white colour and sensory texture. Like all handmade porcelain, no one piece is exactly like the next.
