Learn how to make Chinese dumplings from scratch in a special edition of one of our most popular cook school classes, where 100% of your ticket will be donated to the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust (more information below). In this class, we'll cover:
- How to knead, rest, and prepare dumpling dough
- Why water temperature matters
- Filling-to-wrapper ratios
- How to season dumplings properly
- Different shaping techniques
- How to cook dumplings
By the end of class, you’ll make traditional pork and cabbage dumplings with a dipping sauce, with the option to modify for vegetarian, vegan and pork-free diets.
Age Restriction: 16+, but 14- and 15-year-olds can join as long as they are accompanied by an adult who is also taking the class
