Sue Harker started woodturning over twenty years ago, when she bought her husband a lathe as a gift and, within a year, had her own lathe and workshop. She hand turns every product herself from sustainably-sourced ash trees, which have medium and dark brown streaks in patterns unique to each piece. This square pinch bowl is ideal for keeping flaky sea salt at the table, and is also suitable for serving other spices, lemon or lime wedges, and more.
As these pieces are handmade, each has a grain pattern that is entirely unique. Please note that it will vary from the image above.

East Yorkshire–based Sue Harker started woodturning over twenty years ago, when she bought her husband a gift of a lathe. Within a year, she had her own lathe and workshop. Made from sustainably-sourced timber, she makes olive ash bowls and platters that have naturally beautiful and unique shades and patterns. Passionate about her craft, she teaches woodturning classes in her studio in Bridlington.
