Earl of East is an artisanal candle producer, started by two friends in the Hackney, East London in 2015. Their hand-poured soy candles are subtle and evocative. After harvesting, the soya beans are cleaned, cracked, de-hulled and rolled into flakes. The oil is extracted from the flakes and hydrogenated. The great advantage of soy is that it is completely renewable, eco-friendly and carbon-friendly - no petrol-carbon soot like you get from petroleum-based paraffin candles. The candles burn slowly and cleanly compared with paraffin. Soy-wax based candles blow slower with means that you can enjoy the candle 30%-50% longer than a paraffin candle. The 170ml (6oz) candles will last 40hrs. The non-GMO eco wax and the self-trimming cotton wicks ensure a clean burn and excellent scent throw. All the scents used by Earl of East are created using bespoke blends of the finest botanical fragrances and essential oils and presented in dark amber apothecary jars. We carry two of their signature candles - Greenhouse, a wonderful refreshing botanical scent inspired by the Greek mainland, and Smoke & Musk, a bespoke blend of green balsam fir, alongside wood smoke and deep, musky patchouli inspired by Big Bear, CA and the great outdoors. We also carry our very own scent, which we collaborated with Earl of East to create; Restore, featuring Eucalyptus, Peppermint, Wood Smoke, Amber and Tobacco Leaf scents to create a candle that will help with eliminating kitchen smells, but also releasing cosy scent that will make guests feel welcomed.
Candle Care
Never burn the candle for longer than 4 hours at a time and take care when extinguishing as the glass will be hot.
Never extinguish a candle with water as this can cause the hot wax to splatter and might cause the glass container to break.
Extinguish the candle if it repeatedly smokes, flickers or if the flame becomes too high.
Always burn your candle within sight, away from drafts and never leave it unattended. Please keep it out of reach of children and pets.

The burn time is 35 to 40 hours, but you should not burn the candle longer than 4 hours at any one time.
