Product Details
This light, razor sharp bread knife glides through any kind of bread with ease. It produces straight, clean slices at any thickness you desire, and won’t squash your loaf. Its curved shape makes for a comfortable cutting action, and allows you to get leverage on the tough crust at the bottom of sourdough and other crusty loaves. The stainless steel blade, which is 21cm tall and 2mm-thick, is extremely resilient to rust. It is fitted with a comfortable beech wood handle, which has been covered in a protective varnish to make it moisture-resistant.
Why we love it
'Deceptively light, but so powerful. The perfect accessory to my new sourdough obsession.'

Today the company is run by Joseph Opinel’s great grandsons, and all their products are still made in France. Featuring natural wooden handles, precision-shaped blades, and signature safety locking mechanisms, these knives are crafted for a lifetime of daily use.
