Gift Card Terms & Conditions

Borough Kitchen gift cards are redeemable by the holder for any goods or services sold by Borough Kitchen, both in-store and online. They can be redeemed for merchandise or cook school classes. They are strictly non-refundable. 

How to Redeem a Borough Kitchen Gift Card

In stores, gift cards may be redeemed by presenting the physical voucher or the email voucher code to a Borough Kitchen team member when purchasing. To redeem a gift card online at boroughkitchen.com, please type in the voucher code listed on the physical gift card or digital gift card at checkout. The available balance will be applied to your purchase. If any purchase exceeds the value of the gift card, any outstanding balance must be paid by the holder of the gift card.

Gift cards are not exchangeable, in whole or in part, for cash. If the full value of the gift card is not redeemed in one transaction, there is no cash, change or refund provided. Any remaining balance will remain on the gift card until the expiry date stated on the gift card.

Expiry Dates

Borough Kitchen gift cards are valid for two years from the date of purchase. If you have an expired gift card that has not been used, email online@boroughkitchen.com to ask if you qualify for an extension.

Lost or Stolen Gift Cards

Borough Kitchen will not be held responsible for lost or stolen gift cards, whether they are physical cards or stored on your electronic devices. We recommend you treat your gift card as you would cash, as well as taking a photo so you have a record of the voucher code.

Should your gift card be lost or stolen, please contact us immediately with the proof of purchase, such as a receipt or a photo of the gift card. Should a stolen or lost gift card be redeemed before you report the loss or theft to us, Borough Kitchen will not be able to reissue your Gift Card.

Cook School Gift Cards: 2025 Update

Like many UK businesses, we have been affected by increasing costs of food, salaries, and business taxes. To maintain the quality of our cook school and our values as a London Living Wage employer, we are adjusting the prices of our cook school tickets. 

Starting January 2026, most class prices will increase from £125 to £129, with the exception of our pastry-based classes – French Patisserie, French Macarons, and Gluten-Free Baking. These will reduce to £110. 

If you have an existing Cook School Gift Card for £125 (or Cook School Gift Card for Two for £250), it can be redeemed for any 2026 cook school class without extra charge until 15 April 2026. Please email cookschool@boroughkitchen.com with the date of the class you want to attend and the number of tickets. We’ll take care of the rest.
