Product Details
Sous vide cooking requires submerging ingredients, sealed in bags, in a heat-controlled water bath. These bags – available in a pack of 10 small or 10 medium bags – are perfect for the task. Simply place the Zwilling Fresh & Save Vacuum Pump over the red valve, press the button, and all the air will be removed in seconds. Press the red button and your ingredients are ready to be cooked sous vide. Vacuum-sealing also extends the shelf life of ingredients stored in the fridge up to five times longer than standard storage, making these bags ideal for storing leftovers. When vacuum-sealed, they can also be used for quickly marinating ingredients; 30 minutes is enough for excellent flavour absorption. Made from BPA-free plastic, they can be reused many times. Suitable for use in the microwave, dishwasher and freezer. For more information, read our sous vide beginner's guide.
Why we love it
'Sous vide vastly shrinks the margin of error when cooking – that's why it is a mainstay in restaurant kitchens. It is able to produce consistently delicious meals thousands of times. For the home cook, it's especially handy when entertaining guests, as you can set the table or prepare other food as the sous vide cooker works, as well as leave food at its ideal internal temperature until it’s ready to be finished on the hob (if needed). It's also very versatile – you can use it for anything from poached eggs to homemade gin.'

Today they own a variety of quality-first companies like Staub and Miyabi, as well as continuing to create their own range of expertly engineered products. Their forward-thinking approach involves working to make their factories carbon-neutral (which has already been achieved in their Solingen headquarters), as well as providing opportunities to underserved communities in India, Thailand and Vietnam through their Foundation.
