This Round Perforated Tart Ring from De Buyer has an 8.5cm diameter that is ideal for baking individual tarts, quiches, tartlets and cakes. Made from stainless steel, the ring has a perforated edge for perfect baking of shortbread, puff pastry or shortcrust pastry. The holes allow steam and air to access the edge of the pastry, ensuring an even cooking of the tart crust and preventing a soggy base or edge. The ring has no base, so it should be placed on a flat baking sheet or baking tray when using it. The straight edge enables a flawless and uniform finish on tarts, and the flexible stainless steel allows you to easily release bakes from the mould. It will always return to its original shape. The ring can go in the freezer, deep freezer, blast chiller and fridge, as well as the oven, and it is dishwasher safe.
