Product Details

Made in Germany, the HORL Bread Knife glides through tough artisan crusts and soft interiors without crushing the loaf or tearing the crumb. Crafted with innovative blade geometry, the knife combines three smart serration features with double-bevelled edges; the ridges pierce through the crust, the serrations slice the soft bread cleanly and the smooth plateaus slice neatly all the way to the cutting board. Engineered for both left- and right-handed use, the knife is finished with a comfortably contoured, handcrafted wooden oak handle, which pairs perfectly with the HORL 3 Knife Sharpener in oak. For long-lasting performance, the knife is designed for easy ongoing care. With occasional use of the honing disc of a HORL 3 Sharpener, your bread knife will be at its best again for years to come.

About The Brand

HORL 1993

Timo and Otmar Horl, the father-and-son duo behind HORL 1993 had a singular vision: bring professional standards of knife sharpening to the home cook, simplified. What began at a home cellar is now a fully-staffed workshop in Germany’s Black Forest where every aspect of the manufacturing process is done locally, from steel melding to laser engraving.
