Learn how to master the art of making perfect Indian-style curry and basmati rice. By understanding the basics, you'll gain the confidence to vary ingredients and spices to your liking. The class starts with a short spice masterclass that teaches the purpose and effect of each spice, as well as how to store, grind, and temper them to bring out their best qualities. We'll teach you how to make spice pastes from scratch, as well as how to alter them to make different curry bases. At the end of class you'll enjoy chicken or vegetable curry, aloo gobi (potatoes with cauliflower), and a spiced basmati rice that will show you how to avoid too-stiff or too-gloppy textures for life.

Think this class would make a perfect gift? We do too – that's why we offer Cook School Gift Cards, for one or two guests, in paper and digital formats.
