Product Details
Made in Europe, these Ariane Burgundy Wine Glasses from Lehmann were designed in collaboration with Master of Wine Fabrice Sommier. Sommier worked many years as Head Sommelier at 3-star Michelin restaurant Georges Blanc in Vonnas, France, and received the prestigious title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France (best sommelier in France) in 2007. In 2021, he opened his own wine school in Mâcon, Burgundy. These glasses are machine-made from lead-free crystal, using a process that approaches the delicacy and transparency of their mouth-blown counterparts. The wide bowl allows the wine to breathe and the narrow rim directs the wine to the tip of the tongue. These ultra-light yet durable glasses are perfect for lighter, full-bodied red wines such as Pinot Noir, but will happily serve Chardonnay (Burgundy's white grape) as well.
Why we love it
'I love the more angular shape and the feel of these wine glasses. They make drinking any wine a special occasion.'
