This smartly-designed Pasta Drying Rack from Marcato (the 'Tacapasta') allows you to dry up to 2 kg of long pasta in one go. The fan-like mechanism ensures stability when open and takes up very little space when closed for easy storage. A multipurpose rod inserted in the middle is particularly clever: You can remove it through the top and use it to transfer long strands of pasta from under your pasta maker to one of the 16 swivel arms of the rack. The rod has a curved shape so you can easily 'twist' the strands of pasta onto the rack.
Why we love it
'If you like to make fresh pasta in batches and store it for the week(s) ahead, it's hard not to fall in love with this exceptionally clever drying rack.'

About The Brand
In 1930, Otello Marcato made the first-ever pasta rolling machine in a workshop behind his house and sold them to neighbours on his bicycle. He opened a factory in Campodarsego, Padua, eight years later, where Marcato still produces all of their products today. Their machines are recognized all over the world for unbeatable quality. Their 100+ employees pack up to 2,500 pasta machines a day and 250,000 rollers a month with an extremely low rate of defects, reusing most of the product waste in order to embrace a principle of ecological circularity.Shop Marcato
