Product Details

The Marcato Pasta Fresca mixes up to 500g of flour in just three minutes to make smooth and elastic dough, thanks to a special horizontal blade that replicates kneading by hand. It is ideal for hard or semi-hard dough, and thus you can use it for making pizza, bread and biscuit dough (like shortbread). You can also use it to make Asian-style noodles. The machine is compact enough to fit in a cupboard, and has a cap to keep flour or dough from splattering. Like the popular Marcato Atlas 150 pasta maker, it comes with nine different thickness options as well as attachments for lasagne, fettuccine and tagliolini. All cleaning requires is dusting off with a brush and dry cloth; never use water to clean the inside of this machine.

Why we love it

‘Marcato was the first to make pasta makers, and they remain at the forefront because they embrace technology to adapt their products for modern use—without ever sacrificing quality.’

About The Brand

In 1930, Otello Marcato made the first-ever pasta rolling machine in a workshop behind his house and sold them to neighbours on his bicycle. He opened a factory in Campodarsego, Padua, eight years later, where Marcato still produces all of their products today. Their machines are recognized all over the world for unbeatable quality. Their 100+ employees pack up to 2,500 pasta machines a day and 250,000 rollers a month with an extremely low rate of defects, reusing most of the product waste in order to embrace a principle of ecological circularity.
