A copper saucepan for small tasks.
Saucepan with Lid (14cm)
Copper heats much faster than other materials, and you'll witness that difference clearly with this saucepan. Use it for individual portions of porridge or soup; browning butter; confiting garlic; and so much more.
This fantastic 10-piece cookware set comes from Mauviel's M'150S range. The collection is made from bi-laminated copper and stainless steel (90% copper and 10% stainless steel). Because copper heats more evenly and much faster than other metals it offers superior cooking control. The non-reactive stainless steel interior preserves the taste and nutrients of food and is very easy to clean. The oversized handles are fixed by sturdy stainless steel rivets that allow you to lift and transfer the pans safely. These saucepans can be used on all hobs except induction and are oven-safe. Designed for professionals and home cooks alike, the set includes:
- 3 (14cm, 16cm, 20cm) saucepans with lids
- 2 (20cm, 26cm) frying pans
- 1 28cm sauté casserole with lid
- 1 24cm casserole with lid
- 1 24cm stockpot with lid
- 1 24cm pasta insert
- 1 35x25cm roasting pan
Mauviel M’150 and M’200 pans, with stainless steel, bronze, or cast iron handles, are made of pure copper that’s soft by nature. They are polished and finished by hand, resulting in minor abrasions, small black marks or scuffs. These are considered normal and do not have any impact on performance or durability.
Why we love it
‘It’s almost magical to see the way it responds to my commands as I turn the heat up or down, and I take comfort knowing it will last forever plus.’
