Product Details

The Mauviel M’Cook bain marie, also called a double boiler, is a must-have for committed bakers and chefs. Three inner layers of heat-responsive aluminium, surrounded by 18/10 stainless steel that attaches easily to induction hobs, go all around the pan (not just the base) for even and efficient cooking. A porcelain insert takes the stress out of tempering chocolate or making delicate sauces like hollandaise, which can become scrambled eggs if a pan gets too hot. It also lets you keep ingredients warm until serving.

Mauviel M’Cook pans, including handles, are polished and finished by hand; this may result in minor abrasions or scuffs. These are considered normal and do not have any impact on performance or durability.

While M’Cook pans are dishwasher-safe, please note that dishwasher detergents that contain harsh chemicals such as potassium are abrasive to the aluminium edge on the rims of these pans. This can cause the edge to feel sharp over time, but does not affect performance.
