The Mauviel M'Cook roasting pan features an exterior and interior layer of 18/10 stainless steel around a layer of aluminium to provide fast and uniform heat distribution. The middle layer of that aluminium is pure, meaning there is no adhesive agent in it that slightly weakens its power. The riveted handles are upright, which lets them take up less room in the oven and prevents them from getting too hot. High-quality steel that’s polished on the outside but brushed on the inside makes clean-up simple, and a curved rim allows easy pouring. Usable on all hobs including induction, this roaster is also oven and dishwasher-safe. Because this roaster is not 5-ply, hence thinner than the rest of the M’Cook collection, the reaction to overheating is stronger and may result in scorched surfaces.
Mauviel M’Cook pans, including handles, are polished and finished by hand; this may result in minor abrasions or scuffs. These are considered normal and do not have any impact on performance or durability.
While M’Cook pans are dishwasher-safe, please note that dishwasher detergents that contain harsh chemicals such as potassium are abrasive to the aluminium edge on the rims of these pans. This can cause the edge to feel sharp over time, but does not affect performance.
