Product Details
The Mauviel M'Elite Curved Splayed Saute Pan is halfway between a frying pan and a saucepan. With sides tall enough to cook stews, curries, and stir-fries, it is also great for reducing liquids, making it ideal for making foods like risotto and sauces. The way that it is designed means that it outperforms standard stainless steel pans by miles. It has outer layers of 18/10 stainless steel, which make it induction-compatible, plus three inner layers of heat-responsive aluminium. The middle layer of that aluminium is pure, meaning there is no adhesive agent in it that slightly weakens its power. High-quality, scratch-resistant steel that’s polished on the outside but brushed on the inside makes clean-up simple, and a curved rim allows easy pouring. It will last a lifetime, guaranteed. M'Elite is a special range from Mauviel that has a hand-hammered finish for a beautiful presentation on the table.
Mauviel M’Elite pans, including handles, are polished and finished by hand; this may result in minor abrasions or scuffs. These are considered normal and do not impact performance or durability.
While M’Elite pans are dishwasher-safe, please note that dishwasher detergents that contain harsh chemicals, such as potassium, are abrasive to the aluminium edge on the rims of these pans. This can cause the edge to feel sharp over time, but does not affect performance. See our Guide to Mauviel for info on why we love Mauviel.
