This comprehensive 6-piece set brings together all the essential parts of Mauviel's traditional (but user-friendly) M'Heritage M'150S collection, all made with 1.5mm thick French copper, which is enough to be powerful without being too heavy, and lined with easy-to-maintain stainless steel. Copper is an impeccable heat conductor, heating evenly and quickly, which makes it the perfect material for super-controlled cooking. These handcrafted pieces have comfortable, stay-cool stainless steel handles that mould to your thumb. All pieces in this collection are oven-safe, and suitable for all hobs except induction.
This set is exclusive to Borough Kitchen and includes:
- 16cm saucepan with lid
- 20cm saucepan with lid
- 24cm saute pan with long handle
- 24cm casserole/stock pot with lid
- 20cm frying pan
- 26cm frying pan
- Copperbrill cleaner
Mauviel M’150 and M’250 pans, with stainless steel, brass, or cast iron handles, are made of pure copper that’s soft by nature. They are polished and finished by hand, resulting in minor abrasions, small black marks or scuffs. These are considered normal and do not have any impact on performance or durability.
Why we love it
‘Copper is a perfectionist’s metal. Because it responds so diligently to heat, you’re able to control the exact colour and texture you want your food to be, knowing that the moment you take the pan off the heat, it will stop cooking. Precision, precision, precision. It also cooks so much faster than other pans.’
