Mauviel M'Tradition Pommes Anna Saucepan / 24cm + Induction Plate 22cm

Mauviel’s M’Tradition range consists of entirely handcrafted pieces that honour the company’s 200-year history. This pommes Anna pan has two pieces: a deep pot with small bronze handles, as well as a shallow pan with bronze handles that fits on top of the pot like a lid. (The tall section has a smaller diameter than the short section.) It has a smooth copper finish, bronze handles, and a tin lining, resulting in perfect caramelisation. Do note that the short handles get very hot; never touch them without gloves and use with care. The thick layer of copper means heat is transferred quickly and evenly, even over gentle heat. As tin is a relatively delicate metal, this pot will need to be re-tinned every few years, depending on level of use. Though a collector’s item, it is practical and made to be used. After all, it is two pans in one, and is handy for making a variety of dishes that require flipping, such as Spanish tortillas and Persian tahdig. It is suitable for all hobs except induction and should never be placed in the dishwasher.

Mauviel M’Tradition pans are made of pure copper that’s soft by nature, and thus prone to scratches and should be handled carefully. They are finished by hand. The pans (including handles) often have minor abrasions, small black marks or scuffs. These are considered normal and do not have any impact on performance and durability.
