Product Details

Established in 1947, Mepra is a family-run business dedicated to imbuing Italy’s rich tradition of food, lifestyle and design into their silverware. Their Michelangelo collection is made of heavy-gauge polished 18/10 stainless steel, and features accentuated drop-shaped handles. Use this serving fork alongside its matching serving spoon for a variety of dishes, from salads to entrees. On its own, it is excellent for serving carpaccio and other thinly sliced ingredients.

Why we love it

'Mepra has a reputation for meeting the exacting demands of high-end restaurants and hotels. But as home cooks, what we like is how it’s robust enough for daily use but just as suitable for dinner parties.'

About The Brand

Mepra

Though established in 1947, Mepra began much earlier, in 1901, when brothers Bortolo, Francesco and Giovanbattista Prandelli used kinetic energy of water from the River Gobbia in Italy’s Lumezzane Valley to operate machinery. Still run by the Prandelli family, Mepra supplies flatware to five-star hotels and restaurants worldwide, and they have been featured on the Discovery Channel, in Food & Wine magazine, and more. Their cutlery is made in Italy and engineered to keep its sheen for half a century—at the very least.
