This bread knife, from their Genesis range, features wide serrations that effectively latch on to bread—even ones with a very hard crust—and glide through the loaf with minimal tearing, squishing, and crumb loss. The blade is made from strong and resilient German steel, and is ground to a narrower 15° angle for added precision. It is joined to the handle with a well-balanced bolster that separates the handle from the blade. The handle is made of Santoprene® thermoplastic rubber, which makes it comfortable to hold and ensures a non-slip grip, even with damp hands.
