Its heavy cast iron construction and ergonomic shape let you grind in a full circular grinding motion to get the best results. Featuring a walnut handle, its sleek, minimalist square design is perfect for those who prefer to keep their mortar and pestle on display. The wooden handles can be removed by unscrewing the eyelet at the end of the handle, and replaced the same way. (Wooden handles are not compatible in the oven.) Pre-seasoned with canola oil, the sharp lines and smooth walnut wood create a piece that is both functional and visually appealing.
