Product Details
Cast iron pans are beloved for their ability to retain extremely high levels of heat, resulting in perfectly browned steaks, cornbread, pies, and so much more. They are suitable for all hobs including induction, in the oven, and on the barbecue. What makes a Finex skillet so unique is its coiled stainless steel handle; it stays much, much cooler than the rest of the pan, making it significantly easier to manoeuvre. The ultra-polished cooking surface is pre-seasoned with organic flaxseed oil making it ready for immediate use, and will resist sticking and rust. The octagonal design allows eight ways to get a bigger spatula in the pan and provides up to six different pouring spouts for liquids and sauces. The thicker casting lets a Finex skillet retain more heat than others and the base is smoother, so the journey to easy-release cooking is much faster.
Note: This pan should be seasoned before use, to repel rust and fortify the layer of seasoning. This layer should be regularly maintained. Read our instructions on how to season and maintain a cast iron pan, and why it's worth it, in our guide.

About The Brand
Finex
Finex comprises a group of craftspeople, cooks and designers who joined forces to both honour the heritage of American cast iron pans and modernise it. Their signature cast iron pan features a coiled stainless steel handle that doesn't get hot when cooking on a hob and won’t burn a hole through any oven glove, as well as an octagonal shape that allows for easy pouring and slicing (such as if you’re making cornbread or a pie). They’ve expanded their range to include Dutch ovens and grill pans with similar user-friendly features.
It takes twelve people and a similar amount of time to make every Finex pan, without any shortcuts that might compromise quality. Each pan is cut, shaped and refined by hand in Portland, Oregon, USA, a time-consuming process that’s worth the end result: an extra-smooth pan that helps resist sticking and will last forever.
