The world of gluten-free baking can be overwhelming: rice flour or gram flour; xanthan gum or psyllium husk; potato starch or tapioca starch? During our three-hour course, you’ll be led by a trained chef in understanding gluten-free flour options, binders, & rising agents. In this class you'll learn to make a decadent sweet courgette loaf, perfectly chewy chocolate chip cookies, and a shortcrust pastry tart filled with creme patisserie. After the class you will be able to blend your very own gluten-free flour mixture. No more dry or crumbly cakes.
Age Restriction: 16+. 14 to 16-year-olds are welcome to attend this class as long as they are accompanied by an adult who also taking the class.
Main Allergens: Nuts (almonds, hazelnuts, pistachios), dairy, eggs

Cancellation Policy: You must notify us, by email or in-store, 10 business days before your scheduled class to get a full refund. You can transfer your seat to a different date or class if you notify us 5 business days before your scheduled class. Please note you can only do this twice. For our full T&C's, click here.
Note: Due to rising costs of operation, we are increasing the price of our 2024 classes to £125 per seat. This allows us to maintain our standards for sourcing high-quality ingredients, as well as fairly compensating our cook school team. If you have an existing £115 or £230 cook school voucher, it can be redeemed for any scheduled cook school class without extra charge – this class must be booked before 15 April 2024. Cook school gift cards valued at other amounts can be redeemed at their face value.

You can also email us at this address if you have any Borough Kitchen gift cards that are unused but expired – we will reinstate the card for you.
