It can be difficult to wade through all the big and little tools you need to make bread, especially sourdough bread, at home. That's why we created this kit, featuring seven products that will take you from zero to perfect loaf. It includes two round and one oval bread proofing baskets (also known as bannetons), which absorb the moisture released by the dough during proofing. It also includes a round-edged metal dough scraper designed to be used in large mixing bowls, as well as a sharp dough scoring lame (or blade) for that beautiful 'ear'. Best of all, it includes Shropshire-made spun iron bakeware from Netherton Foundry, which retain high levels of heat to create crisp, browned exteriors. The Bake/Griddle Plate can be used as a pizza stone, as well as on all hobs including induction as a griddle pan for pancakes, burgers, and more.
