25cm (10-inch) Frying Pan
A stainless steel five-ply pan with a curved rim for drip-free pouring and a comfortable handle that stays cool on the hob, with a matt finish. This medium (25cm/10-inch) size is ideal for cooking small or medium portions; for example, two chicken breasts, one naan, or four sides of stir-fried broccoli.
All-Clad is a pioneer of multi-ply cookware, in which metals are bonded together not just at the base but throughout the pan, providing effective, even heating without any hot spots. The d5 range was designed with the high heat of induction hobs in mind, as its five layers of indestructible metal—18/10 stainless steel exteriors, with two heavy-gauge layers of heat-responsive aluminium in the middle plus a core of stainless steel—help prevent warping. This also results in excellent heat retention, so your food stays warm long after you take it off the hob and to the table. All pans in the d5 range have curved rims for drip-free pouring, as well as riveted handles that mould comfortably to an underhanded grip. Clean-up is simple, as both the inner and outer parts of these pans are finished with brushed stainless steel, which resists food residue and fingerprints.

Why we love it‘Even heating makes the d5 range shine. In other words, if you're cooking scallops, the ones furthest from the hob ring will have as nice a sear as the ones closer to it. The handles are very comfortable too—they stay cool on the hob and have bolsters to maintain balance.’

About The Brand
All-Clad was founded John Ulam, a renowned metallurgist whose inventions transformed the automobile, aerospace, and mint coin industries. An avid home cook, he applied his knowledge of bonding metals with very different properties, such as stainless steel and aluminium, together to make pans. The result was cookware that cooked food more evenly, was easy to clean, didn’t alter flavours, and didn’t tarnish or warp. So when All-Clad opened the doors to their Canonsburg, Pennsylvania factory in 1971, cookware was yet another industry he transformed.
Their products are still manufactured in the USA, where each and every piece is inspected for strict quality control. In addition, they adhere to exacting environmental standards, recovering and recycling nearly every ounce of unused material.
